I've heard others say that it's the fastest and best way to "GROW A BUSINESS"...and I agree....it really works.

But....like many....my problem was WHAT DO I SAY???? I dig this idea George.....being able to have someone else write and organize this for me would be a huge time saver.....

I've also seen the content on one of these newsletters and it's darn good....it would fit right in!!!! Check it out if you are building a business....IT REALLY WORKS!!!

Ask for Testimonials

There is no better social proof than clients talking about you to their friends and second to that is the written testimonial. Anytime a client says something amazing about their experience, I ask them to please send me that in an email. I also follow up with a request via email within a day or so reminding them. Testimonials are great. Ask for them and post them!

Email Marketing

Yes, you can email this newsletter instead of actually mailing it. BUT, I certainly recommend MAILING it to your top clients! Physical newsletters have a much higher reader ship than emails. Less than 10% of all emails are opened versus 85% of newsletters get read! Think about that. For about a buck a newsletter, 80% of your clients will read it!

Four Reasons to NOT Buy From Me

1. My newsletter is more FUN than serious. I know for a fact that funny stories and trivia increase readership but maybe you are MORE serious of a person than I am.

2. This is NOT for lazy photographers. Sure, I make it easy to create your own newsletter but you have to finish it and get it out the door consistently!

3. Timid photographers need not apply. With a newsletter, you are putting yourself out there. Zig Ziglar is known for saying "Timid sales people have skinny kids."

4. Sending a newsletter requires a MARKETING BUDGET. If you don't have a marketing budget, you probably aren't too serious about building a real business. If so, please don't join. This kinda relates to #2: you can't be lazy and cheap and build a business. It won't happen.

Word of Caution:

This is NOT a quick fix for a sick business

If your commitment to this marketing program lasts as long as a teenager's attention span, you shouldn't do it.

If you are in search of the "Easy Button" with microwave instant results, this may not be for you either. Sure, I made it as easy as possible but you DO have to complete the newsletter and get it out the door. I publish the newsletter a MONTH early so there is PLENTY of time to do it.

Folks, it takes TIME to create a loyal following of clients who will return and send you referrals. Nothing great happens fast.

Do this for 12 months and I will make a believer out of you!
